Thriving on Thursdays - Linky Party # 141

Domesblissity

Welcome to a (very chilly) Thursday morning here downunder and Thriving on Thursday. I don't 'do' the cold weather very well and even though it is officially winter here in the southern hemisphere, it's too damn cold for my liking. I can remember growing up it was always quite cold with the occasional frost on the grass or my car windscreen icing over and it's got a little bit like that. Maybe it's just because I'm older and the bones are getting a little more 'creaky'. No matter. I'm dressing warming, eating hearty warm meals and keeping warm. Only one and a half months until Spring, but who's counting? Let's check out this week's features from last week's party. Here's my top 3 food and non food posts.

Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. It was a real pleasure to have you. If you were featured, please feel free to grab a featured button from above. I'm hoping next week will be warmer here as my fingers are finding it a little hard to type. (You see, we don't have central heating or anything here. We're tough here in Queensland. Well, not really. We just don't experience cold weather all that often.) Enjoy the rest of your week and let's see what you've been working on. I can't wait!

  4. I guess it's all what you get used too. My husband's cousin who lives up in the mountains of New York would be wearing shorts in weather that you describe. Sounds cozy to me... but I melt when it just gets a little warm her in the summer. Well stay warm and thank you for the party.

  10. Hi Anne! Thanks for having this linky! Turns out it was the right post for me to add! My (late) mum's soup made by me! Freezing here too but we have gas heater .. Moved from Sydney in January to the central coast.. Like being nearer the beach but don't like all the rain & wind we get! Cheers, Denyse x
