With so much available for sale online these days, sometimes it’s like trying to ‘find a needle in a haystack’ when you want that particular thing. Some of the more popular online shopping sites have everything under the sun when it comes to homewares but Just Bedding are just that. Everything you need for just bedding.
I’m in the process of making over my son’s bedroom and it’s been a long, slow drawn out process. Initially, he wanted a ‘zebra’ themed room. I thought “oh great, that’ll make things easy, I’ll just pick up a black comforter for his room” but do you think I could find one? I was going for a monochromatic colour scheme but just couldn’t pull it together. It’s become a bit of an African Safari themed room now but I was still after that black comforter. (The tinge of colour on the bedspread is from the light shining in my son’s room.)
No one sells comforters or bedspreads these days. You might be lucky to find them at second hand stores but I wasn’t having any luck. When approached by Just Bedding if I’d be interested in doing a shout out on my blog in return for some bedding, I went straight to the bedspread section and there they were. There’s not a huge range of colours (because they’re not popular anymore) but I was pleased. You see, I dislike quilt covers with a passion. I don’t know how they became so popular. There’s the stuffing the doona inside the cover, having to wash it more often so it gets faded or the pillow case gets more faded than the quilt cover. It also doesn’t go all the way down to the floor to cover up the sides of the bed. Give me a bedspread/comforter any day. Just Bedding were also quick to deliver the comforter to my home address.
They supply all the big brands like Logan & Mason (the brand of the comforter), Hiccups, KAS, Marie Claire, Royal Doulton, Sheridan, Tontine and many more. The only difference is, they are massively discounted by up to 70%. Even when you sign up to their newsletter, you’ll receive further discounts. Shipping is free when you spend over $90 which isn’t hard to do once you add up a complete ensemble of bed linen.
They sell everything from sheets, pillow cases, pillows, throws, blankets and much more so you can pick up the whole collection to complete that look you see so often in the windows of the more popular bedding and homewares stores.
With a 9 year old boy, I didn’t want anything too fancy, just something durable and more importantly that will withstand the test of time. Comforters are such a great thing to have on those cold nights in front of the TV. Why not check out Just Bedding online and see how their prices compare. I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Thank you Just Bedding for filling my design brief. The full reveal of the makeover will be published very soon.

Disclaimer: I was gifted this single bed comforter from Just Bedding in return for a blog post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Just gorgeous! I love linen! I am limited to space so I don’t have very much and my bedroom is tiny so that stunning bed with the cushions (that one of my dogs eats!!) with rugs etc would just look stupid in my room! Doesn’t stop me looking though
Thanks Kit. I’m a bit of a cushion-a-holic. I think it’s an easy way to change the decor in a room without a lot of expense but hubby thinks it’s okay to rest his weary, sweaty head on them. They’re only for show! lol Thanks for stopping by.
