To celebrate the launch of the Domestic Goddess Subscription Box, I’d like to give away the November box to a lucky winner.
The Domestic Goddess Subscription Box is a monthly subscription box service that is designed with the ‘domestic goddess’ of the home in mind. Each month a particular area of the home, a particular chore, an area to be organised, something to cook or bake PLUS special indulgent products for the lady of the house will be in the box.
All too often, the women of the house are concentrating on everyone else in the house and don’t worry about spending any attention on them. I’m extremely guilty of this but because I enjoy an easier way of doing my housework, try to keep things in my house to a bare minimum so I don’t have too much to clean or organise and find easy ways to cook and bake, I have found that extra time to have some ‘me’ time.
I want to share this with you in the way of specially, hand picked Australian products that will make your job as the ‘domestic goddess of the home’ easier which will allow you more ‘me’ time. These are products I use myself (I always order an extra one of everything so I can use them).
The products will aim to be sourced from boutique, family owned Australian businesses with products that are environmentally and family friendly.
The cost of each month’s subscription box is AUD$39.95 with free shipping within Australia (an additional AUD$15 for overseas shipping) and they can be ordered here. The value of the contents is in excess of AUD$50.
I can’t reveal what’s in this November box as yet as I want to keep it as a surprise for the recipients so once I know they have been received, I’ll be showing you all what you can expect.
A special “Christmas” themed subscription box is available for December and orders close on 10 November 2017 to allow plenty of time for it to get to you.
If you’d like to win the November subscription box, please enter your details below.

I struggle with cleaning. It’s never ending. I just seem to go around and around. No sooner than I have finished then I need to begin again.
I’m a little ocd so struggle when my partner attempts to stack the dishwasher or hang out the washing……should appreciate his efforts and look at the bigger picture but omg, why hang jeans from the cuffs lololol
Menu planning and being organised.
As a family of six the youngest is 5 months old I struggle to meal plan and stick to a budget I need to make time each week to plan a head I’m going to get everyone to pick a meal and stick to that
Decluttering and the mess, this applies to both the fridge and the house!
I struggle most with meal planning for my hungry family of 7 who are getting pickier as they grow and working full time getting home at dinner time.
Decluttering is the thing I find the hardest. Too much “stuff” gets in the way of everything.
Clutter – it just seems to creep up on me and I never seem done with it
I struggle with cooking – I am not confident in my cooking skills and wish I was better at it. 🙂
I struggle with keeping everything in my head – appointments, shopping lists, chores, birthdays, phone calls, emails, volunteering… it all seems never ending. I’m trying “outsource” some of this to others in the house at the moment – it’s such a relief if someone else can take care of one aspect for a while.
I absolutely struggle with organising our laundry. Literally things just piled up in corners and on the floor because we have insufficient storage and I’m rubbish at clever storage ideas.
Everything – I don’t mind cooking but don’t like cleaning at all.
The thought of ironing has steam coming out of my ears!
Oooo goodie! Would be great to win ?
The clutter in my house is just too much
Don’t know where to start, decull or fuss
All we have I think we need
But there’s far too much there is indeed!
It’s the mending things I can’t hack,
so it’s off to Nanna with my pack.
I drop off sewing, she sends it back,
Domestic sewing sucks without Nanna on track.
Clutter! I want to move houses this year so I realise what a problem this is.
Cooking dinner is my nemesis;
I love eating it
but hate the prep, cooking
and clean up after!
I constantly struggle with keeping on top of the washing , even though I have all the best intentions to do a load or two every day it never happens
I struggle with ironing. I seem to have so much and can never keep up with it! It’s boring, monotonous and never-ending. I absolutely HATE ironing especially in the warmer weather.
Washing windows on a two story home on a slope is a challenge. Most of the year they look dirty apart from the one day a year that I can help the hubby and get them cleaned.
I struggle with keeping the clutter under control. Doesn’t help that my partner loves to collect his trinkets!
The one area I hate cleaning is the shower! We have horrible corners the scum builds up in in record time and the scrubbing is painful!
I love cleaning but apprehensive when I enter kitchen, never look forward to cooking.
I’m so bad at keeping on top of the all the dishes in the kitchen! Always such a mess!
Definitely struggle with putting clean bedding back on the bed and keeping up with general cleaning
I struggle to keep things tidy once we have a big cleanup esp in kids rooms.
Glass shower screens… grrrrr…. they are the bane of my life. I have tried all cleaners and even glass protection but nah… they are still a real “headache”!
Cooking, I find it difficult to find healthy dinners that I can actually cook
Unfinished business. It’s difficult to ever feel a sense of accomplishment due to the cyclical nature of the work. Rinse and repeat.
I’m time poor so I struggle with thinking of quick and healthy meals the whole family likes. I have about 6 meals on rotation and I’m bored!
Folding the laundry pile. It never seems to be completed and the pile just grows and grows.
Having clean floors – it’s a constant mess with kids around. Sweeping and mopping efforts don’t last long as kids drop crumbs and bits of food on the floor within minutes!
I struggle with organisation and folding washing takes me forever when I do it I have like 3 baskets worth
When you work AND do the homemaking, it can be really hard to keep track of everything that needs doing! And finding a little bit of ME time!
Throwing things out as everything seems to have memories attached
Keeping the bathroom and toilet cleaned and looking good
I struggle with keeping the dishwasher under control, it seems I’m forever playing catch up!! If I’m not emptying it I’m filling it!! Where on earth do all these dishes come from?!
I struggle with scrubbing the shower, there never seems to be enough time in the day.
I enjoy organising but have trouble with letting go of the things I no longer need. I’m trying so hard to downsize at the moment but it’s hard to part with the memories associated with certain items.
Love the handy hints and tips, at present I only aspire to “domestic goddess” status!

Putting clean sheets on the bed. I struggle with the mattress (bed is up against the wall in a corner), then when I’ve finally got the sheet on, I then have to make the bed! I don’t know why, I just find the whole process exhausting.
Putting away all the items my son seems to pull out and rearrange each day
The laundry that never ends really gets me
Our bedroom! It’s the designated dumping area. Even if the rest of the home is immaculate, our bedroom won’t be.
Decluttering, am getting married in December finding it difficult to clean house in readiness for wedding guests .THANKYOU
Sorting things into boxes and getting rid of what we dont need cause I might need it “one day”.
I struggle with washing the floors as I have a large tile area.
I struggle with ironing: I just am hopeless, I blame in on being left handed but just can not produce a great result.
Dirty laundry piled high,
dirty dishes in the sink,
being a mum of five,
is sending me to the brink!
squee!
