I had grand plans. Grand, grand plans of making wonderful things for my Mum for Mother’s Day and for the school’s Mother’s Day stall. We all know what happened and now none of that will happen this year. I promise I’ll give a hand at next year’s Mother’s Day stall at the school but in the mean time, I’ll share a few of the ideas I pinned on Pinterest. Just in case you were thinking of doing something similar.
This is what I made Mum last year along with Lemon Date Bars. She absolutely loved it. She was the kind of woman who had everything and always enjoyed the simple things and things that were made from the heart. Here’s what else I pinned.
Box of Sunshine
Cookies & Coffee Gift Set
Coffee Voucher Card
Coffee Gift Pack
Fabric Bookmarks
Tea Gift Card
More Tea Bag printable tags
Homemade Scrubs
Hand Sanitiser Gift Card
Cupcake Bath Bombs
Decorated Wooden Pegs
Post It Notes
There’s so many other ideas out there on the Internet. Save yourself a couple of dollars and stay away from the store thinking that your Mum would like a new $100 bottle of perfume or appliance. I’m sure we all appreciate the little things in life. I’m looking forward to seeing what my two munchkins buy for me at the $2 Mother’s Day stall at school. I bet it will be something edible, for them!
I'll forward this along to the husband. 😉
What wonderful ideas! Love them all. That post it note idea sure is cute. Well for that matter they all are. Think I'm going to send your post to all my daughters. Maybe they will get some ideas. And I now surely have some fun ideas that I can give them. Another great post Anne. LOVE it!!
Hugs my dear friend,
