I don’t get eggcited by Easter like I did when the children were small. For one, they don’t believe in the Easter bunny anymore and the chocolate treats on offer are boring. There seems to be a limited range and not the fun range there used to be. You don’t always have to give candy either. There’s nothing wrong with cookies or cakes. Not that they ever got a lot but I think I’m going to be making something from this round up of 19 homemade Easter sweet treats.
There are the usual homemade sweet treats that aren’t Easter themed but you could make up a batch of fudge or similar and give in a recycled egg carton or glass jar.
You can use a simple brown paper bag. Cut out the centre to form the ears and tie with a piece of string. Stick on a cotton ball for the tail.
