Welcome to another week and Thriving on Thursdays. A place to link up your blog posts for the week. I love seeing what you’ve all been up to. This Sunday is Mother’s Day in most parts of the world and even though I won’t have my kids (it’s a weekend that falls on the time they spend with their Dad), I’ll be remembering them fondly and focusing on how blessed I am to be a Mum. With all the negativity I see about how ‘terrible’ some people’s kids are, it’s a time when we should be remembering how lucky we are to have them. It truly is a miracle to give birth to a child, to raise them and to see them grow up into a good human being. My children are only 11 and 9 but already I can see that all the hard work I’ve put in all these years is paying off. Sure, they’re not perfect and they have their moments but a good indication is how they act in public and I always get good feedback. This Sunday I’m hosting a linky in collaboration with my blogging pal here in Australia, Belinda from Modern Wife Life 31 and you can link up any posts, new or old, about what it’s like to be a Mum or any posts about your Mum. We’re both really passionate about #motheringwithheartandjoy, that is realising that parenting is hard but keeping it to yourself. There’s no need to air all the negativity across social media at the expense of your children. Once you put it out there, it’s there forever and I know I wouldn’t want my children to read such things I’ve said about them. So remember, #mumstheword and only speak positively about your children today and everyday. Anyway, onto this week’s party. Here’s my top 3 food and non food posts from last week’s party. Thanks everyone for always linking up.
