If you’re feeling overwhelmed in your home or home life. You don’t know where to start to get back on track or to create order and routine in yours and your family’s life, this is the package for you. I will come into your home and tackle the most common areas of the home. I will clear the clutter, create storage options, remove any rubbish, sort items and pack away into their correct place. Maybe you need routines established like organising an area for the kid’s school bags and notes, housework, easy meal plans or just how to manage your day. By the end of my visit, you’ll feel a weight has been lifted off your shoulders and you’ll see peace and order restored to your home. There’s no shame in asking for help.
I understand how hard it is to part with sentimental items. I’ve still got sentimental items from my grandmothers, mother and mother-in-law that I’m just not ready to part with.
If you’ve got an area of your home that needs special attention like the kid’s toys, photos, the clothes in your wardrobes, the linen closet or you might be holding on to sentimental items you just can’t part with, I can help you make sense of all the clutter and organise it as required. Whether that’s storing it appropriately, getting ready to donate or sell or organising it so that you’re making the most of the space.
Packing & Unpacking
Are you moving house and need someone to give you a hand to sort through everything before you pack or help you pack all your items? Maybe you don’t want to have to take a lot with you and have a good clean out before you start packing. Or have you moved and you’re too busy to put away everything into it’s correct spaces? I can help you with that. Having moved many times myself over the years, I make the most of the opportunity to cull any items I no longer find useful before I have to pack them and find somewhere to put them at my new place.
Do you work away from home for long periods of time and would like nothing better than to have the bed made, fresh towels put out, a fridge full of food (and maybe a cold drink or two), a couple of homemade meals ready to heat in the microwave and give your home that ‘welcome’ feel after a couple of hard weeks at work? Perhaps you’ve been on holidays and the thought of getting the home organised and still unpack and wash all your holidays clothes can seem daunting. I can set up your home to make life that little bit easier for you. Nothing is too much trouble. Just ask!
Perhaps you live on your own and you don’t feel like cooking for one, meal prepping for one, shopping for one etc etc. Maybe you’re moving from your lifelong family home into smaller accommodation and you won’t be able to bring all your belongings. A lifetime of memories can be hard to deal with and if you don’t have anyone to help, I can certainly help you make sense of it all, store it appropriately or help you to organise donating or selling any unwanted items. I can help you meal prep or cook the meals so all you have to do is reheat them. I can help you with any aspect of your home. Pensioners receive a 10% discount off all services.
Maybe sometimes you just need another ‘you’. With both parents working these days, it’s hard to find the time to take care of all the little things and manage your home. I can assist with organising a house cleaner, garden or lawn maintenance, pool maintenance or just be there to take a delivery of the grocery order or anything else. Nothing is too difficult or too much trouble. Let me help with meal prep, cooking meals, old fashioned home baking to feed your family. Just pop the homemade meal in the oven or microwave when you get home from work, sports or meetings. All you have to do is ‘just ask’.
Hourly rate: $35 per hour (minimum 1 hour)
(weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits)
2 hours: $60
3 hours: $85
Prices for longer time periods or out of hours requests can be negotiated
