Hello thrifty THRiVERS! Hope you’ve all been having a great, stress-free lead up to Easter. What does Easter mean to you? I don’t know if its because I’ve been reading too many blogs this year or been on too many social media platforms but I think I’ve seen my fair share of Easter recipes and crafts to last a life time. I agree that it’s a wonderful time for family to come together and I’m all for celebrating the season, whatever it may be, with appropriately themed food and home decor (if you’re into that sort of thing) but is there a bit of overkill or is it just me? I don’t attend church as regularly as I should but I’m all for reminding the children ‘the reason for the season’ and I don’t believe they need to be painting eggs, doing all this Easter craft or everything they eat for the weeks leading up to Easter be bunny, egg or chicken themed. How about you? Do you get right into it or do you remember the reason we have this holiday? It doesn’t mean I don’t like seeing these kind of posts. I think I’ve just seen too many this year. Now, onto last week. Here’s my top 3 food and non food related posts linked up.
